The Healing Power of Physical and Occupational Therapy
The Healing Power of Physical and Occupational Therapy
As people age, a sound balance of the body and mind becomes more essential. Thanks to the holistic benefits of physical and occupational therapy, seniors can maintain their level of independence, whether they are managing a strength and balance issue or merely wishes to boost their overall health and mobility. This is where Sonny Therapy Group comes in.
We offer outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy with a Doctor's prescription. We will assist in fall prevention by providing balance and safety screenings for new residents along with apartment evaluation for safety. We also assess any resident with a fall or injury to judge their fall risk level and need for intervention. We present monthly health related workshops for residents to promote fall prevention and promote healthy living. We will meet on a regular basis as needed to correlate with nursing and marketing to make these assessments on a timely and effective basis. We also provide staff training for safety and transfer techniques for injury prevention and resident care. Weekly Tai Chi therapeutic exercise classes are also provided at no cost
Our company is dedicated to providing physical and occupational therapy services for senior patients for increased strength and improved balance in independent and assisted living facilities in Eastern Washington, North Idaho and South Western Montana.
